K.L. Mehta Dayanand Public Sr. Sec. School, No.1 Sector 7 (under the aegis of Maharishi Dayanand Education Society) is the flagship of the K.L. Mehta Dayanand fraternity. About four decades ago Mahatma Kanhaiya Lal Mehta Ji sowed the seeds of this institution with an aim to build a novel education system that aimed at developing its students into academically sound, morally upright and socially well integrated citizens of society.Inspired by this great visionary’s zeal, enthusiasm and charismatic personality the school has oriented towards the holistic development of its students. Our mission is not just to create another face in the crowd but to nurture each student into developing a personality that has the resolve to do the nation proud.
Established in 1969, the school got its provisional affiliation with CBSE Board in 1979 which has been extended upto 31st March 2018. Its affiliation no. is 530009. The school is sprawling over 0.7 acre of land covering 2832.79948 with built up area 2400 sq. mtr. and the playground of 0.6 sq.mtr..Regarding other facilities the school has provided separate rooms for smart classes, indoor games , dance and music, arts and crafts and health and medical check-up.
At the senior secondary level we offer Science (Medical and Non-Medical), Commerce and Humanities streams.

In year 1969, a dream, a vision of Mahatma Kanhaiya Lal Mehta Ji to set up a temple of education. The roots of an institute with a difference. With a glorious history of 42 years and the grace of god, support of our management, teachers and parents, K.L. Mehta Dayanand Public School Nehru Ground has firmly established itself as an ambience for quality education.Since its inception, the school has been inspired by our founder president and great visionary Mahatma Kanhaiya Lal Mehta Ji’s exemplary vision who believed that schools are institutions that influence lives and it is our responsibility to not merely produce scholars but develop a personality who can benefit the society and can maturely handle the complexities of life.
I would end by from Swami Vivekananda’s life which I am very fond of – Once few men quoted that SwamiJi- “Today’s youth is useless”, Swami Ji smiled and added a ‘d’ and said-“They are just used less”. So we believe that when the positive energy of the youth is channelized in the right direction, the youth becomes the fountain head of creativity and has the ability to excel in whatever they choose to do remaining rooted to their values.

A great visionary and a pioneer in the field of education, Mr. Anand Mehta is president of K.L. Mehta Dayanand women college and chain of 15 schools. He believes that actions of a man provide inspiration to other and whatever he does become a standard for them to follow. As he himself is president of handicapped children Asson, NAIRH. He creates an environment which inspires learners to eagerly look forward to their classrooms, where there interest are nurtured where they will envision a glorious future not just career but path breaking discoveries Mr. Anand Mehta is securing Industries Faridabad sports.
